On July 11th, 2024, Luke and Samie enjoyed their day in Nashville, starting with breakfast at D’Andrews Bakery and Cafe, then exploring Broadway’s bars for drinks and music, stopping for lunch at Assembly Food Hall to try Prince’s Hot Chicken. They capped the evening watching a Nashville Sounds baseball game, enjoying snacks and drinks.

On Day 3 in Nashville, the travelers explored barbecue spots and local distilleries, opting for a low-key day amid the heat. They enjoyed coffee at Milk & Honey, sampled pulled pork at Peg Leg Porker, and tasted boozy slushies at Party Fowl. The day concluded with authentic Vietnamese cuisine at Love, Peace, and Pho.

During their last full day in Nashville, the couple engaged in various activities, including mini-golf at Puttshack, dining at Central BBQ, and exploring the Nashville Farmer’s Market. Their trip concluded with a visit to the Parthenon. They reflected on their enjoyable experiences and prepared to return home the next day.
A South East Road Trip: The Volunteer State
In July 2018, the author explored Nashville, Tennessee, staying at the luxurious Gaylord Opryland Resort. Highlights included dining experiences, a Grand Ole Opry backstage tour, and visiting Belle Meade Plantation. The trip continued to Chattanooga, featuring Ruby Falls and Lookout Mountain’s enchanting Rock City, before heading to Atlanta.
