Luke and Sam journeyed from the coast, preparing to head back to South Dakota. Their travels included navigating winding mountain roads and enduring high temperatures in Redding, California. Despite challenges at a high-elevation campsite, such as struggling to start a fire and a culinary mishap, the experience provided memorable moments even in ordinary days.
West U.S. Road Trip (Day 7 of 10)
Luke and Sam embarked on a long drive from Mt. Rose to reach their royal lodging at Castle Creek Inn. Despite encountering car troubles in Nevada, they marveled at the alien landscape of Utah’s salt flats. Upon arrival, they were welcomed with hospitality. Their room, “Rapunzel’s Tower,” and a visit to Chick-fil-A made for a delightful, albeit unconventional, royal experience.
