A South East Road Trip: The Bluegrass State
In July 2018, Samie and her family embarked on a road trip from South Dakota to Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky. They explored the extensive cave system, participated in various tours, encountered wildlife, and enjoyed local cuisine. Their adventure concluded with a hike before heading to Nashville for more travels.
A Tar Heel Journey: Day 2
In July 2015, Samie and family traveled from Wisconsin to Kentucky, crossing five states. They visited Hammond, Indiana, home of “A Christmas Story,” before hiking at Indiana Dunes National Park despite rainy weather. Enjoying various roadside stops, including Indianapolis and crossing into Kentucky, they ended the day at a hotel, excited for their next destination.

On the third day of their journey from Kentucky to Charlotte, North Carolina, Samie and family enjoyed a morning of laughter with young Rebekah before exploring the Cumberland Gap National Historical Park.
