They enjoyed sightings of humpback whales, including one named Kelp, and a memorable King Crab meal at Tracey’s Shack. The day ended with scenic views and a heartfelt farewell to Juneau.

Despite initial panic, the day included various activities, like a presentation on The Iditarod and a delightful Royal Dutch Tea. As the day ended, the dining experience and 70’s trivia brought enjoyment and camaraderie.

A Tar Heel Journey: Days 8 & 9
Samie recounts a memorable road trip in July 2015, highlighting a visit to St. Louis and the iconic Gateway Arch, where she enjoyed breathtaking views after ascending to its peak. The trip continued with a guided tour of Fisher Cave, showcasing stunning natural formations. Ultimately, the experience deepened appreciation for family and travel.
