Bergjord Boarding

I am fresh out of trips and am too lazy to start dredging up another adventure from years ago. The natural next step is to look to the future.

Sam and I have had the “dream vacation” talk. We tend to have very similar opinions on what would be awesome. I will just briefly go over a few of them here.

Backpacking Europe – We are quickly becoming too old for this one considering an essential part is staying at hostels. I love the thought of a train ride to another country. Everything you need is on your back and the spirit of adventure is pulling you forward.

Australia – There are multiple countries on that side of the globe that would be amazing to visit. I can’t wrap my head around 16 hours in the back of the plane shoulder to shoulder with a random person. Would this place ever be worth that flight?

Japan – This seems like a great mix of being terrified and thrilled. The more videos we watch of traveling to and around Japan, the more I want to go. The absolute efficiency of their cities and train systems is alluring and obviously the food scene.

East US Road Trip – We did the west US, why not take down the east? Because of cities and traffic, that’s why. This one has come up many times and hasn’t had very firm footholds yet. I still think it will happen because of the history on the east coast. Also lobster rolls and pizza.
